Last Monday our neighbor (Thanks Jenny!) called & told us about the Mascot Bowl happening
that evening at the local high school. Oh my goodness did we have fun. The boys ADORED it and Izaak kept asking why this was the first game we have ever taken him to. (I know, aren't we awful parents?) They have mascots from all the Utah teams, as well as lots from out of state, come and play the high school & little league teams. Lots of laughs, goofing off, and autographs (which we missed, but will get there earlier next year to ensure we get some).

Izaak is the boy in light blue...he tried sooo hard to get each mascot that came to our bleachers to give him a high five. He was usually not aggressive enough though, and this was the closest he got to one.

And finally, Izaaks favorite mascot...BYU's Cosmo the Cougar. I don't know how we have ended up with a BYU fan in our family, but we are learning to accept it. I had a zillion pictures on my camera that Izaak had taken of him.We are already looking forward to next years Mascot Bowl.

OK, it does. Last night I tried to comment and it would not let me do it. The Mascot Bowl looks fun. Kids love that stuff. I imagine you had lots of good laughs. And so sorry about your hair storm. That hail is deadly to tender little plants. But you must have salvaged a lot of peaches. Good for you.
